Thank you for participating in the video on-demand format of the Coming Together in Advanced Practice Conference! Please review the General Instructions, Guidelines to Receive NCPD Credit and Disclosure menus below before viewing the presentations to ensure you understand the requirements to receive contact hours.

To begin watching the on-demand presentations, click on ‘View Sessions’ where you will see a list of all presentations offered on-demand.

When you click on a session, details for that session will open in a new tab within your browser. This page contains the pre-recorded video, a link to the presenter’s handouts (if provided), information about the presenter and a link to ask questions. Click on ‘Click Here to Choose Another’ to return to the main menu and select another presentation to view.

If you do not view all of the videos/presentations in one setting, no worries. Just log back in, click on ‘View Sessions’ from the main access page and pick up where you left off. You have unlimited access to the pre-recorded sessions/presentations until the on-demand site closes June 30.

If you are experiencing problems viewing the presentations, please try the following troubleshooting options:

  • Try a different browser to access the presentation
  • Clear your cache and cookies
  • Use a larger device (laptop or desktop)
  • Check your firewall settings or ask your network administrator for assistance

Learners must view all on-demand presentations before the on-demand site closes at 11:59 PM CST on June 30, 2024

Once you’ve viewed each of the presentations, be sure to complete the online verification of attendance form and evaluation using the links provided. Completion of both elements is required to fulfill the successful completion requirements and receive a certificate of completion. The evaluation must be completed by July 15, 2024.

Certificates will be emailed to learners, to the email address provided during registration, within two weeks after completing the verification of attendance and conference evaluation. Note: Participants not completing the verification form and evaluation by the deadline provided will not receive a certificate of completion. No exceptions can be made.

Please also review the Disclosure menu before viewing the videos, to ensure you understand your requirements to receive contact hours.

Participants can receive a maximum of 21.25 contact hours for viewing all the session presentations. Of the twenty presentations, five are designated as pharmacology sessions, making a total of 6.25 contact hours, pharmacology focused, available to participants.

In order to receive nursing contact hours for your participation in the on-demand recorded sessions, please follow this procedure:

  1. View each session you are interested in, in their entirety.
  2. Visit the Verification of Attendance form link on the main access page of the on-demand site to complete the online Verification of Attendance form. On this form, provide your name and email address, mark the sessions you viewed, attest that you participated/viewed each session checked, and press send. The form will be submitted to our office for processing. Note: the system is designed to automatically calculate the total number of contact hours earned based on your selections.
  3. Visit the Conference Evaluation link on the main access page of the on-demand site to complete the online evaluation. This link will be available on the site beginning June 1st and will stay active until July 15th. Please contact Sara Fry in the MONA office if you need access to the online evaluation in a different format and a separate link will be emailed to you.
  4. Participants completing the online Verification of Attendance form and Conference Evaluation will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Certificates will be emailed within two (2) weeks from completion of the online evaluation. If you need your certificate sooner, please make arrangements with Sara Fry at the Midwest MSD Office.

Please Note: Participants not completing the evaluation by the deadline provided will not receive a certificate for their participation. No exceptions.

If you have any questions regarding the successful completion requirements and issuing of certificates, please reach out to the MONA Office.

  • Successful Completion – Participants must register, view the presentation recordings, complete an online verification of attendance form, noting the sessions they viewed, and complete an online conference evaluation to receive a certificate of completion.
  • Contact Hours – Participants meeting the successful completion requirements will receive a maximum of 21.25 contact hours. Contact hours will only be available to those who view the presentations before June 30, 2024.
  • Relevant Financial Relationships – The following presenters identified financial relationships with ineligible companies/organizations:
    • Planner Helen Feldker is an investigator for the FINEARTS-HF clinical trial by Bayer AG
    • Speaker Kari Martin is a researcher for Eli Lilly and Regeneron
    • Speaker Wendy Wright is on the speakers’ bureau and is a consultant for AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Exact Sciences, GlaxoSmithKline, Idorsia, Moderna, Merck, Novavax, Pfizer, Sanofi, Seqirus; and also serves as a consultant for Shield Therapeutics

All relevant relationships for these individuals have been mitigated. No other relevant financial relationships were identified for any member of the planning committee or presenter/author of the program content.

The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The Kansas State Nurses Association, Missouri Nurses Association and Nebraska Nurses Association formed a collaborative, namely the Midwest Multistate Division (Midwest MSD), with the goal of promoting efficiencies and growth. As part of this collaborative, the Midwest MSD Professional Development Unit (PD Unit) was formed, which is accredited as an ANCC approver and provider of NCPD, to address the educational needs of nurses in the Midwest region.

Those certified through AANP – Contact hours received through participation in this event are acceptable toward certification/recertification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Per the AANP guidelines, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is an acceptable, accredited and independent organization that provides advanced nursing CE content for NPs seeking renewal using continuing education credit. Once you have completed watching all of your session videos, please click the link below, and complete the conference verification form.

Once you have completed watching all of the presentations/videos, and submitted the online verification of attendance form, your last step is to complete the online evaluation. The evaluation must be completed by July 15, 2024 to receive a certificate.
