APRN Day at the Capitol
The Missouri Nurses Association sponsored APRN Day at the Capitol is an event focused on legislative issues important to Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. The day will include a legislative briefing, key messaging points, and time to meet with legislators.
For your convenience, we are offering APRN Day at the Capitol on two dates:

11:00 am Lunch – Madison’s Café: 216 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101 We arranged a special menu for about $15 a person including a non-alcoholic beverage. In order to keep the event free, we ask that you pay for your own meal if you choose to have one.
11:30 am Welcome Address, Legislative briefing & key messaging points- Madison’s Café: Heidi Lucas, State Director; Sarah Oerther, MONA Board VP of Advocacy; and Kyna Iman, MONA Lobbyist
1:00 pm Walk to the Capitol for meetings with legislators – Please use information provided at meeting
2:00 – 4:00 pm Wrap up from legislator meetings.
